Prototype Engines

This 2-4-2 saddle tank steam locomotive was built in 1911 by Vulcan Locomotive Works for the Berlin Mills Railway which served the Berlin, NH paper mills. In 1944 the neighboring Groveton Paper Company purchased the Berlin Mills #7.It is now on display at Steamtown in Scranton, PA.
