Iron Horse 1:29 Home Page

Welcome to my model railroad Web site. As you can tell from the Web address, I'm into large scale garden railroading. While the Web address implies an interest in the 1:29 scale popularized by USA trains and Aristocraft, the domain name for the site was registered many years ago. My current interest is primarily focused on 3' narrow gauge which is most correctly modeled at a scale of 1:20.3. That is not to say that the focus of this Web site is solely on narrow gauge. Some sections of this site focus on standard gauge locomotives, most correctly modeled at 1:32, although many manufacturers producing large scale models use the slightly larger 1:29 scale. This Web site compiles a variety of information related to my railroad including:

	Railroad - This section contains information on my own railroad, the North Pacific Coast garden railroad.
	Prototype - This section of the Web site provides information on prototype engines. The largest section is the Mason Bogie section which contains the largest collection of Mason Bogie photos on the web.
	Resources - This section contains information on some resources you might find useful in modeling.
	Projects - This section contains prototype and modeling information on a variety of modeling projects. Some are in the concept phase, others are in the modeling phase and some are completed projects.
	Author - This section will tell you about me and my interest in model railroading.
